DJ Soul Jay, hailing from South West London, is poised to become one of house music’s most sought after composers.  Revolutionary Music is proud to be the first label to release his music.

From the moment he picked up a guitar to play 12 bar blues with his father, he was hooked on the limitless world of music.  Growing up in London, he was exposed to the underground sounds of pirate radio, inspiring him to explore music even further.  However, it wasn’t until 1997 when he bought his first pair of turntables.

Passion for music and the gift of a good ear, made Soul Jay a quick study on the turntables.  Soon he was rockin’ crowds throughout London, Bristol, and Devon.  His deep love for djing House music pushed him to become very serious about writing his own compositions.
While studying psychology he took courses in music technology and sound engineering.  During holidays he worked at Input Records, a friend’s record shop.  Determined to hone his skills even more, he landed a position at Bonafide Studio, where he learned production techniques by working on music of all genres.
Currently Soul Jay is building his catalog of music and giging around London.
