San Francisco Organica Lounge Release Party Sept 16

Keyatta Shade of KeysListSF.com is helping us organize an unbelievable album release party at Red Devil Lounge in San Francisco on Thursday September 16th. Bryan Ford & Goulet and Elev8tor will make the trip out to the Bay Area from Chicago. They will be joined by DJ J Boogie whose albums on Om Records as J Boogie’s Dubtronic Science have elevated him to mythic status. J Boogie is currently working on a remix of one of the songs on Revolutionary Music Presents Organica Lounge. The opening DJ, DJ Deevice, was recently named Best Radio DJ 2010 by the San Francisco Bay Guardian.

Revolutionary Music co-owner Bryan Ford and RM recording artists Burton L. and Sam Sharp (drummer for Elev8tor) are rock n’ rollers when they aren’t dropping funk and electronic beats. They call themselves Ain’t No Er Like a Stripper and I gotta tell you, they are f**king bad a**es! This Sunday they are playing the big room at Reggies Rock Club for a special show. If you need a little rock n’ roll in your blood (you do) – meet us at the show!

Check out the video of Revolutionary Music’s 2009 Artist Showcase at the Safe House featuring Burton L. & Darcy (live), Justin Reed, Adrienne Sanchez, Bryan Ford & Goulet (live), Elev8tor (live), VOLT MODZ (Shifty Johnson and K Ford) DJ set, Earl Jives aka Lee Jarvis and Ryan Scott. It was a great night. This was our last party at the fabled venue. Ahh the memories! Many thanks to Chris for shooting and editing this - very cool.

Safe House party tomorrow night (May 16th)

We are all very excited about tomorrow night’s artist showcase at the Safe House. Our original head of security – Norman the Punisher – has flown in from Dallas just for this reunion. We are also excited to have the world class b-boy, BRAVEMONK coming out to blow up the dance floor. Audrey Sica of Stoptime341 will be blowing minds with her signature VJ stylings. We are loading in the original Safe House sound system tonight.

Make sure you get there early to check out the live bands playing everything from lounge grooves to funk to broken beat/nu jazz to house. Also, if you haven’t RSVP’d yet then do so now! You can rsvp by clicking here.

Proving that Revolutionary Music is beyond genre, label co-owner Bryan Ford is playing with fellow Revolutionary Music recording artists Burton L. and Sam Sharp (drummer for ELEV8TOR) in the newly formed rock band Ain’t No Er Like A Stripper tonight at Reggies (Chicago). If you like the Bad Vibes (another Bryan Ford rock band) then you’ll definately dig this band. Burton is on lead vocals and guitar, Bryan plays bass and Sam is on drums. The festivities begin at 8pm at Reggies, which is a cool venue just south of downtown.

On Saturday, May 16th 2009 Revolutionary Music is presenting it’s 2009 Artist Showcase at a private underground venue in Chicago. The artists featured at the event include downtempo/funk/trip hop artists: Bryan Ford (live), ELEV8TOR (live), DJ Goulet (live), Burton L. & Darcy (live) and Justin Reed (DJ set). Also performing are house/tech house/glitch/minimal DJ/producers: VOLT MODZ (Shifty Johnson & K Ford), Earl Jives, DJ Goulet and Ryan Scott.
