Revolutionary Music recording artists VOLT MODZ, Elev8tor, Shifty Johnson, Lee Jarvis and Justin Reed will be performing at a loft party in the the old Safe House space in Chicago. The party will showcase a mix of bands and DJs and will open with a fashion show. Royal Audio Productions is organizing the event. Doors open at 8pm.

Bryan Ford & Goulet at Double Door with J Davis Trio July 17th

Revolutionary Music’s Bryan Ford & Goulet are playing at Chicago’s Double Door this Saturday night July 17th. They will be opening for Chicago’s renowned jazz-tinged hip hop collective, J Davis Trio. Sean Haefeli will also be performing. Doors are at 8pm and the show begins at 9pm.

We are proud to announce that Bryan Ford’s gorgeous song, Here All Along feat Ava Fain will appear on the new double CD box set compilation from High Society/Universal Music Singapore entitled Haute. The box set will be available exclusively in the high-end Singapore-based retail chain, That CD Shop. Sergio Mendes & Brasil ’66, Jazzanova and RJD2 also appear on this beautiful compilation. We’ve heard great things about That CD Shop and High Society. Apparently every CD purchase from the High Society Collection comes with its own satin bag. The box set they sent us was amazing: it was a white glossy box with gold trim embossed with gold foil and made to look like the packaging of a designer fragrance. We’re proud to be apart of it!

VOLT MODZ to perform live with Sound Pellegrino Thermal Team at Smartbar July 3rd

Revolutionary Music recording artists, the VOLT MODZ, will be opening for Sound Pellegrino Thermal Team at Smartbar Saturday, July 3rd. The VOLT MODZ will be performing live for the second time. Their first performance was on April 24th at Darkroom. They play a continuous mix of all original funky techno, tech house, glitch and jackin’ house. Shifty Johnson and K Ford are behind the dirty basslines, analog synths and funky beats that comprise the VOLT MODZ sound. Their first release for Revolutionary Music was a remix of the Earl Jives cut Funkie Ass Junkie.

Revolutionary Music recording artists Elev8tor are set to headline a live electronica showcase at Darkroom on June 12. The show is presented by Red Light Productions, Revolutionary Music and illmeasures. Revolutionary Music co-owner Jeremiah Seraphine will be a supporting DJ along with illmeasures’ DJ Striz. Doors open at 8pm. Striz and Jeremiah Seraphine will end the night with a dance party beginning after the last live set and continuing until 3am.
